The standard inkjet printable media has been around for a long time, so people have just become accustomed to accepting that the inkjet printable surface is really off-white rather than a true white. So even though the color may look fine and the white content seems white, it’s really not as clean and bright as it could be. That’s why Vinpower created our line of Power White inkjet media to give a true bright white that helps your printed content really pop and look the best it possibly can look. So don’t settle for close enough when perfection is within reach. Check out the true difference that Vinpower’s Power White can make.

We’ve all done it, tried to save a few bucks and bought a cheap alternative only to find out that it didn’t work or didn’t work for long. Then you end up throwing good money after bad to buy the product you should have bought the first time. That’s the same in the world of optical discs. You may think you’re getting a deal by saving a fraction of a penny buying media made in a 2nd or 3rd tier market, versus Vinpower’s line of Optodisc media made in the 1st tier Taiwan factories. In reality, the failure rate on those “cheap†discs will cause you to throw your potential savings in the trash and risk your customer’s constantly complaining about the bad quality.
So you went against your better judgement and bought the lower grade media, but then you learned your lesson and came back to the consistent quality and reliability Vinpower has built its reputation on. So the question lingers, what do you do with all those unused discs you ordered from those NON-Vinpower suppliers?
Vinpower has the perfect suggestion for you, mosaic arts and crafts. It’s simple to do. Just use any household scissors to cut up those bad discs and then glue the pieces (reflective side up) onto a table, flower pot, holiday ornaments, or any number of household items and voila, you have transformed that dull item into beautiful artwork. Not only will you find a way to recoup your money from those failed discs by selling your beautiful artwork online, but it will be therapeutic so that you can also calm your nerves from the frustration of wasting your money and not ordering from Vinpower to begin with.
Of course you can save yourself the hassle, expense, and wasted time by just skipping the low grade media hassle and buying direct from Vinpower from the start. That will mean you’ll have to find your artistic outlet somewhere else, but at least it won’t be at the expense of your bottom line.

If you buy a nonperishable product, especially a mechanical item, there’s often a warranty that comes with that purchase. The warranty is supposed to give us a sense of security that the product will function properly at least a certain period of time or else that item can be repaired or replaced at little to no cost to you. But what happens if the company or person offering the warranty either doesn’t have the capability or doesn’t have the empathy to provide the service that you relied upon when you purchased the item. It’s those incidents when you realize the true value of service and those that truly put the effort into the production of the product and can stand behind the product and fully support the item should there be any issues later.
Service is what separates Vinpower from other manufacturers and suppliers, because we have the knowledge and know how to provide reliable products and the capability to support them should there be any issues in the future. Take Vinpower’s line of optical disc drives (ODD), such as Optiarc, Plextor, or Piodata for instance. There are fewer and fewer companies offering ODD’s and those that do no longer have the financial incentive to provide the support needed that was prevalent in the height of the ODD market. So the current manufacturers simply provide minimal testing and even less trouble shooting to identify and resolve issues that customers, especially those in the production intensive duplication market. That’s where Vinpower shines. Not only does Vinpower provide enhanced duplication FW and hardware modifications, but we also have the ability to modify the ODD’s to best meet the needs of the customer and the media they are using.
So when someone says they don’t want to pay extra for service, they’ll soon learn how much extra that savings will cost them. They key is that Vinpower offers the service at a price comparable and sometimes less than those offering no service, so what’s the reason not to go with the support and reliability of a company that stands behind its products, can’t think of one.

Seeing the devastation taking place in Houston, TX and the surrounding area, it makes everyone realize the how quickly our lives can be turned upside down. When I think about the massive flooding and the potential for even greater disaster if the rains persist, I can’t help but think how terrifying it must be for those inhabitants that are stuck in the midst of the chaos and even those fortunate enough to have escaped, but realizing their lives will forever be altered. In these times of upheaval and peril the first instinct is survival. But then once the danger subsides and the waters recede, the next thought is how you put your life back together. That’s when you assess what you have and what you lost and hopefully it’s only possessions, because those can be replaced.
However, there are items that if lost can often never be replaced and typically those are the photographs, videos, and mementos that represent a person’s life and the lives of those they care about. If those items are merely kept as standard pictures, film, or even stored on a hard drive, natural elements like water and mud can completely destroy them. However, optical discs are more durable and can withstand being submerged in water or covered in mud. So if you are able to convert those previous images and content onto optical discs, there’s a greater chance they will still endure the disaster and you can retain those treasures that would have been irreplaceable otherwise. Just like you shouldn’t keep all your eggs in one basket, it’s always wise to keep the most important content on multiple sources, possibly in the cloud and on 1 or more hard drives, but I would strongly suggest that at least one of your safety nets remain optical discs.
Most of us may never experience anything like the destruction that’s taking place now in Houston or has happened in many other locations around the world, but there are still small isolated incidents like a house fire, burglary, computer virus, or any number of incidents that could cause you to lose mementos and content that you could never replace unless you have adequate back-ups. So take the time to safeguard your treasures and back them up on optical discs.
