Vinpower offers Authentic Epson Discproducer ink for better performance and color print quality

Vinpower has been a global authorized seller of the Epson Discproducer series for a number of years, but we find that a lot of customers prefer to use 3rd party ink rather than true authentic Epson ink. When you don’t use authentic ink from the printer manufacturer, you’re taking chances that could reduce the lifespan of the printer and limit the vibrant color brilliance of the print quality.

Vinpower offers true authentic Epson ink for the Discproducer series at prices that make it reasonable to switch back to authentic ink. Using genuine authentic Epson ink makes a tremendous difference in the overall performance of the printer and the vibrance of the color on the discs you print. So don’t short change yourself, contact Vinpower today and get the genuine authentic Epson ink for the best the Discproducer has to offer.

CES 2023 should return to its pre-pandemic level of participation and attendance, registration is now open to make sure you can be there too.

CES 2023 registration

In 2021, CES went entirely digital, which couldn’t match the feel of the in person experience. In 2022, CES tried a hybrid approach of online and in-person to a lukewarm revival of sorts. The exhibitor participation and guest attendance was sparce due to continued concerns over COVID and the Omicron variant. That left fewer exhibitors participating and a drop in attendees to see them. However, in 2023, it appears as though CES will return to its pre-COVID glory with a full list of exhibitors back in person so attendees can once again see and experience the latest in technology in person. This is sure to mean that show attendees will be returning in droves to be the first to see the hottest new technology coming to the market.

For that purpose, Vinpower will also return as an exhibitor and introduce a new product line that will continue our focus in digital storage, but highlight the new and inspiring directions we are moving into for the future. If you want to be part of the action at CES 2023, taking place January 5 – 8, 2023, then be sure register for your passes now. This is a great time to return to CES and see what Vinpower and the rest of the vendors have to offer. You won’t want to miss it, and everyone that visits Vinpower’s booth has an opportunity to win one of our latest and hottest new product lines that we’ve ever developed. This new product is not another duplicator or something that caters to a select niche of customers, but will be incredibly useful for everyone!

Streaming and purchasing digital versions of movies and shows may not last, unlike that same content on optical discs.

movies disappear in the cloud

There are a lot of people that like to keep all their digital content in the cloud and they think just because they paid for it, the 3rd party they purchased it from will keep it for them forever. Sony, among other companies, recently proved that’s not the case. Earlier this year, Sony put out an announcement, basically stating that due to licensing agreements with content providers, some previously purchased Studio Canal content will be removed from the customer’s video library. Those customers were not offered refunds or anything other than an apology for the inconvenience.

This further strengthens the argument for owning a physical copy of the movies and music that you really enjoy and would be devastated if the title was no longer available. When it comes to streaming platforms and cloud storage, the user is at the whim of the storage facilitator. If that company gets in a dispute with the content owner, as it appears in this case with Sony, your content could be removed. If the cloud storage provider simply decides they need more space and offline content that hasn’t been seen in a while, or worst yet, that cloud storage supplier goes bankrupt or exits the industry for a better opportunity, all the content they possess, could simply disappear from your stored files.

With physical storage items, like optical discs, especially Blu-ray, means it’s possible to keep that content safe and available at all times, when you need them. Storing Ultra Hi-Def 4K content on Blu-ray means that content will always be available when you want to watch them. Plus, the archival life of optical discs is typically between 50 to 100 years at least.

If you care about the movies you want to keep in your library, it’s advisable to at least keep a copy on optical disc for safe keeping, so that if or when the digital version vanishes, you will always have the original.

When a video is too big to email, quickly backup to iXflash and load it anywhere.

iXflash saves the day

Recently I had a situation where the iXflash was the perfect solution for a typical issue many of us face. We sell a products on Amazon, and from time to time, a customer will post a question about those products. As the manufacturer, we like to answer those questions quickly and concisely, especially if we can use a quick video to convey the message. We had an inquiry as to how tall one of our duplicators were. I took out a tape measure and took a very short video measuring the duplicator that I intended to use to answer the question on Amazon. Of course, like most people, I used my cell phone to take the video.

Now that I took the video, I needed to transfer to my work desktop computer so that I could load onto Amazon to answer the customer question. The video was very short in duration, but because everything is filmed in hi-def or 4K, it still made the file size too big for me to email to myself. So the issue becomes, what’s the easiest way to transfer the short video from my iPhone to the computer? Alas the answer was simple. I connect my iXflash to my iPhone, select to back up the single image/video, and then take the iXflash with the video stored on it and insert the USB side into my computer. Within a matter of seconds, I had the video on my PC and I was able to upload the video onto Amazon for that customer and any others that may have a similar question to view and get their answer.

You may not have to load videos to Amazon, but I’m certain there are many times in life when you needed to transfer an image or video from your phone to a computer and it was far more complicated than it needed to be. The iXflash removes those barriers and simplifies transferring images, files, documents, audio recordings, movies, songs, and so much more between your iPhone or iPad and virtually any device that connects with a USB connection.

If you use an iPhone or iPad to film content as a function of your job, the iXflash is the ideal time and money saver that you don’t want to be without!

Windows 11 reinstated its free ripping software, the Optiarc AD-5290S is the perfect ODD to read the CD’s you want to rip.

Win 11 brings back burning software

Windows media player had moved away from its native CD ripping and playback capabilities, especially after nearly all desktop and laptop computers removed physical optical disc drives (ODD’s) from their hardware. This year, with the release of Microsoft’s Window’s 11 Build 25158, they reintroduced a feature in Media Player that used to be a staple in the past, CD ripping. This new CD ripping feature allows the user to create not only MP3 files, but also WMA, FLAC, ALAC, or the default setting AAC format. This is great news for all audiophiles that want to convert their CD’s to audio files, which they can then load to their phones or just to have all their music on a hard drive in one place.

The only problem is that even though Windows brought back its music ripping feature, todays computers typically still don’t offer default optical disc drives anymore. Therefore, in order to use the ripping feature, the user needs to purchase a drive that can work with the ripping software. Vinpower has a solution, offering a number of internal optical disc drives (ODD) to choose from, including the very popular Optiarc AD-5290S series. Take advantage of having a digital backup of all your CD’s and use the Optiarc drive for the best reliability and to capture the sound the way it was meant to be heard.

Sales of music CD’s have increased the last 5 years, showing the format is both relevant and necessary.

CD sales increasing past 5 years

There’s something to be said about nostalgia, but that’s not the only thing fueling the increase in both CD sales volumes and revenues. There are those that cling to older technology because they don’t like change, or a younger generation enjoying the music of their parents or grandparents. Yet, research has shown there are other factors contributing to the CD resurgence and why it’s not just a fad, but a sustainable reality. As you can clearly see from the following link to the Recording Industry Association of America, (RIAA),, sales of CD’s have increased year over year for the 1st time since 2004. So why the revitalized CD push and how does it affect you?

Firstly, with the boom of vinyl records, owning tangible music content, rather than just streaming, became cool again. However, the scarcity of vinyl and the exponentially higher price of vinyl compared to CD’s is pushing music lovers back to CD’s. Next, digital content has a clear and crisp sound that gives us what the artists truly intended us to hear when we listen. Plus, CD’s can hold more content on a single side, so there’s no flipping the disc over like an album or cassette. Then, there’s a big push of fandom to own tangible effects of their favorite artists. These keepsakes give the holder ownership of something related to the artist, much like a poster or T-Shirt.

That’s where the increase in CD sales comes back to benefit the duplicator, wholesaler, or even content creator. Touring artists, especially independent artists, make a sizeable amount of their income from merch at concerts. Some of that merch is of course the artist or bands CD’s, which is typically not included in the RIAA sales figures, so it’s an uncalculated revenue stream. However, many duplication/replication companies that make these discs for the artists have seen sizable increases in CD audio duplication/manufacturing. If you’re in the business to sell CD’s, duplicators, or accessories around these items, it shows there’s still a viable business to be had and Vinpower is your one stop shop to support you with all the media, hardware, and services you need.

Vin makes e-commerse content

The iXflash Cube worked like a dream, backing up all my vacation photos from my iPhone while it was charging and I was sleeping

iXflash cube backup vaca - transfer to computer

Another testimonial of personal experience using the iXflash Cube. I recently took a long overdue vacation with the family in a beautiful tropical location. Like millions of other people, my iPhone doubles as my camera, especially when I’m traveling. Everyday, I’m capturing tons of photos of all the fun we’re having and the interesting sights found as we relax and take in the sights. For millions of people, that’s where the photos will remain permanently, because they don’t use any sort of backup. However, for me, this was an exiting opportunity to fully test our iXflash Cube, being that this is the 1st vacation I’ve taken since its release.

I can tell you it couldn’t have been easier to use. Every night when I went to bed, I connected my iPhone to the charger, with the iXflash Cube connected. Immediately, the iPhone began charging as normally, but at the same time, the iXflash kicked in and seamlessly began reviewing the iPhone for any new images that haven’t already been saved and backed up all the new images and videos. When I work in the morning, my iPhone was fully charged and all the pictures and videos I had taken were backed up onto the iXflash Cube. That was it, there was nothing else I needed to do. I repeated this process every night while on vacation and the same results. I didn’t have to initiate the backup or program anything, it all took place automatically.

When I returned from the trip, I simply plugged the USB connection of the iXflash Cube into my PC and all the pictures and videos I took on the my vacation were instantly viewable and I simply download them to my external hard drive, for safe keeping. Not only that, but I was able to instantly post images and video to social media or share them with other friends and family members without any issue. The iXflash Cube is so easy and useful, plus very affordable, it would be a shame to vacation without it if you’re an iPhone or iPad user.
