Vinpower will showcase the WORLD’S FIRST Enhanced Portable SSD with Apple iOS App tested at 900 MB/s transfer speeds using iPhone 15 Pro at the 2024 FMS

PSSD shown at FMS

Vinpower Digital developed the 1st ever 10Gbps portable SSD (PSSD) that will provide complete access and compatibility with Apple iOS devices through an incorporated Apple APP that supports iPhone iAP2. Unlike traditional Flash and SSD products with a USB-C connection, our PSSD is not limited to minimal access through Files or filming through Apple ProRes video only. The newly developed iXflash Pro PSSD will have direct access to Apple’s Photo App and Video functions in order to provide fully authentic backups and live video filming, maintaining true meta data as captured from an iPhone or iPad. Also, with an integrated PD function, the iXflash Pro PSSD can be a conduit for charging the phone and PSSD as well as data transfer. Because of this, our PSSD does not need to reply on Bus Power only for connected devices, which is why it can also support iPhones and iPads with Lightning connections.

Feel free to review the following press release link to learn more about the: World’s First 10Gbps PSSD compatible with Apple iOS devices from JMicron and Vinpower

The upcoming compact Portable SSD (PSSD) using the recently developed iVP817 IC Chip from JMicron and Vinpower, will be the first of its kind to offer exceptionally fast data transfer speeds with enormous storage capacity that will be fully integrated and compatible with Apple iOS Devices including current and previous iPhone and iPad’s.

We’ll be at booth 950 at the FMS show Aug 6 – 8, 2024. Feel free to contact us to schedule a time to meet or speak before or after the show.

Vinpower hopes everyone in the USA enjoyed America’s celebration of the Declaration of Independence.

Happy 4th

Vinpower was formed as a corporation in January, 2001 in Los Angeles county, California. As a US company, we are excited to have celebrated this recent 4th of July, signifying the 248th year as an independent nation. Even though the world and commerce has changed drastically even in the last 50 years that I have been around to witness it, Vinpower has always championed our ability to bridge the divide between growing a small American company and utilizing a wealth of resources from around the world.

So as we celebrate the 4th of July in the US, we also celebrate the many accomplishments of our all friends and family around the world. Together we will all make a difference for future generations to come.

Vinpower offers all the tools you need to own your content, rather than the pitfalls of only streaming…

safer keeping physical copy

Recently, I have come across a number of articles and videos touting the importance of owning your own copies of your favorite music and movie titles. Sure, streaming has made life much easier as we in theory can watch whatever, wherever, whenever. But in reality, that’s not the case. Streaming, be it music or movies, is becoming more an more fractured in that the services that provide the content are balancing what they offer with the ROI of each title. So an artist or movie you like might not be cost effective and the service drops that project or another the opposite happens and a competing streaming service you don’t subscribe to keeps exclusive rights to that project to attract more subscribers. I haven’t even gotten into the issues that come if you don’t have adequate internet or bandwidth. In the end, the consumer is always at the mercy of the streaming services, unless you take control and own the content you care most about.

Sure streaming is easy, but so is purchasing CD or DVD versions of the content you want as well as ripping backup copies of that content onto a digital medium of your choice, such as optical discs, flash drives, hard drives, etc. Vinpower offers every sort of physical platform that allows you to backup and safely store and play all your favorite digital content. Not only will you be able to access your content whenever, wherever, but the playback quality will be far superior to that of streaming as well. For streaming, they have to again weigh the costs of storing so much content vs the maximum quality of the content itself. Whereas your original content was produced with the highest caliber of video and audio resonance available.
